ISOLUTE® PSA

ISOLUTE® PSA is a weak anion exchange sorbent used to extract strong acids and polyacidic compounds from aqueous samples. Alternatively, it can be used as a polar sorbent to extract polar analytes from non-aqueous matrices.

ISOLUTE® PSA is an ethylenediamine-n-propyl bonded sorbent sorbent used for the extraction of strongly acidic compounds (e.g. those containing sulfonic acid groups) or analytes unstable under acidic conditions, from aqueous samples using a weak anion exchange retention mechanism. It can also be used to complex with certain metal cations. Analyte elution can be performed by neutralizing charge on the sorbent (high pH). The sorbent is supplied as the free base.

ISOLUTE PSA can also be used for extraction of polar compounds from a non-polar matrix using a hydrogen bonding retention mechanism. Used in this mode, it is less retentive than ISOLUTE SI.

ISOLUTE PSA is available in a wide range of SPE columns formats.

ISOLUTE PSA is also available as loose sorbent (100g pack).
