Social responsibility
Our approach
Approach
Employee well-being enables Biotage to attract and retain key talent in a competitive market. Our people are central to developing our business and products, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of modern pharmaceutical science and analytical testing.
Externally, through high ethical standards, fair business practices, and our knowledge-sharing platform, we support scientists and researchers worldwide – contributing to progress in medicine, environmental protection, and public health.
We ensure workplace safety through training, risk assessments, and monitoring at all sites. A group-wide reporting system and clear policies on environment, harassment, and whistleblowing secure accountability and fast action.
Training in unconscious bias, diversity and equal opportunities is part of our leadership training requirements, and our interview training includes diversity and inclusion. Updated equality and non-discrimination policies strengthen fair treatment globally.
We hold suppliers to high standards on environment, labor, human rights, and governance. Compliance is checked through audits and follow-up on our supplier code of conduct, with corrective measures or contract termination when necessary.
Knowledge contribution
Biotage actively shares expertise with the scientific community through blogs, webinars, videos, and application manuals. By providing free and accessible resources and guidance, we educate researchers and industry professionals and assist them in improving their workflows with the purpose of advancing discovery.
