Protein G PhyTip® Columns

Protein A and Protein G bind to the Fc region of IgG antibodies with various selectivity to IgG subtypes. As a result, Protein A and protein G PhyTip columns can be used for purification of IgG antibodies and IgG fragments that include the Fc region. However, due to higher selectivity to certain IgG subtypes and species, Protein G is the preferred choice over Protein A in some cases for instance for human IgG3 or rat IgG2a.

Our Protein G PhyTip columns have demonstrated ability to extract functional IgG antibodies with very high purity from varying levels of background proteins due to their high binding affinity and high capacity.

Our Protein G PhyTip columns comes with validated dual flow chromatography protocols for purification of IgGs that can be transferred to any automated liquid handling system. Our buffer kits contain all the buffers is needed for the purification protocol.
