Biotage® MP-TsOH resin is a sulfonated macroporous polystyrene resin and has been optimized for use as a bound reagent or scavenger resin for the synthesis of small molecules.The sulfonic acid groups in MP-TsOH are readily accessible for removal of basic compounds (e.g. primary, secondary, and tertiary amines) by quaternary salt formation.
Biotage® PS-Benzaldehyde resin is useful for removing nucleophiles from solution, including primary amines (selectively, even in the presence of secondary amines), hydrazines also carbon-based nucleophiles such as Meldrum’s acid and organometallics.
Biotage® PS-Isocyanate can readily scavenge excess nucleophiles, which are often used to drive reactions to completion. The reaction of nucleophiles with the isocyanate moiety occurs without liberation of small molecule by-products.
Biotage® PS-TsNHNH2 is a resin-bound equivalent of p-toluenesulfonyl hydrazide and is an excellent scavenger of aldehydes and ketones.
