EVOLUTE® Sample Preparation Products contain advanced water-wettable polymer-based sorbents for extracting drugs and other analytes from biological fluids and aqueous samples. Developed specifically for analyte quantification by LC-MS/MS, EVOLUTE sorbents provide a highly effective solution to the problems of ion suppression and matrix effects from dirty extracts.
EVOLUTE® EXPRESS SPE columns and plates eliminate traditional conditioning and equilibration steps, saving time and solvent costs with the fast Load-Wash-Elute procedure. By combining a cleaner SPE sorbent with an innovative hardware design, they make sample prep simple and more consistent from sample-to-sample.
EVOLUTE ® PFAS products are designed for optimum performance in PFAS extraction from environmental samples.
EVOLUTE® HYDRO SPE products enable in-situ (in-well) hydrolysis of urine samples, reducing sample handling and improving efficiency.
A water wettable polymeric sorbent for simultaneous extraction of acidic, basic and/or neutral analytes.
A mixed-mode hydrophobic/strong cation exchange sorbent for extraction of basic compounds from aqueous samples.
A mixed-mode hydrophobic/weak cation exchange sorbent for extraction of strongly basic or polybasic analytes from aqueous samples.
A mixed-mode hydrophobic/strong anion exchange sorbent for extraction of acidic analytes from aqueous matrices.
A mixed-mode hydrophobic/weak anion exchange sorbent for extraction of strongly acidic analytes from aqueous matrices.
Polymeric weak anion exchange (WAX) SPE columns for extraction of PFAS from environmental samples.
EVOLUTE® solid phase extraction columns and plates with in-well hydrolysis capability.
At the core of all EVOLUTE® SPE products are the EVOLUTE family of sorbents.
Available in 5 media types to cover a wide range of applications, they were developed with the needs of LC-MS/MS analysis in mind.
The high purity sorbents are water wettable for enhanced robustness and productivity, and have unique characteristics that improve extract cleanliness and reduce matrix effects.
Processing samples using EVOLUTE® EXPRESS columns or plates with a simplified Load-Wash-Elute procedure can increase productivity by eliminating the need for the conditioning and equilibration steps. This is made possible due to the combination of the water wettable EVOLUTE® sorbents and the aqueous compatible plate components incorporated in EVOLUTE® EXPRESS.
For most applications the Load-Wash-Elute procedure gives the same high analyte recoveries and low variability as standard SPE but can reduce processing time by one third.
EVOLUTE® EXPRESS products dramatically improve flow characteristics and enhance sample preparation productivity. Flow rates are fast and consistent even when loading aqueous biological fluid sample directly onto a dry column.
Specially treated inert, hydrophilic frits, water wettable polymeric EVOLUTE sorbents and the exact dimensions and packing techniques all work together to give you extremely consistent results, batch to batch.
All EVOLUTE sorbents have a high surface area to ensure high, reproducible analyte recoveries. But, to achieve the highest sensitivity in LC-MS/MS analyses, its important to reduce or eliminate matrix components that cause ion suppression. In biological fluids, one of the main causes is proteins that are co-extracted from the sample.
EVOLUTE sorbents have an optimized pore diameter (approximately 40 Å) which is narrower than most other polymeric SPE sorbents. This narrow pore size prevents larger protein molecules from retaining on the SPE column or plate during the SPE process, so they don't end up in the extract, and more importantly, don't cause matrix effects in the LC-MS/MS.
Unlike other polymeric brands, EVOLUTE® EXPRESS combines a cleaner SPE sorbent with optimised components, making sample prep simple and more consistent from sample-to-sample.
