Our products significantly help improve our customer’s development of new medicines and analysis of samples within pharmaceutical and biotech companies, food and agriculture, research and academic institutions.

The QHSE Manager Role

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven individual to join our Management Team taking responsibility for the delivery of the company QHSE strategy. This challenging role will involve responsibility for ensuring total compliance with all legal, customer and company policies relating to Quality, Health and Safety and the Environment by leading the development and deployment of an effective compliance initiative.

The successful candidate will also actively drive and implement a safety, quality and environmentally aware culture amongst all employees within the business as well as proposing developments and additions to policies as required.

The role is available on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours between Monday to Friday.

Required Skills and Experience

  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • Experience of providing advice and support to Managers
  • Knowledge of best practice with regard to safety in the chemical industry
  • Detailed knowledge of standards relating to the Quality, Environmental, Safety and operational aspects of a business, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Internal or Lead auditing experience
  • Experience of designing and delivering appropriate training to employees

The Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental role is primarily site based but some occasional travel may be required.
