    POSITION SUMMARY

    • Assist Quality Engineering by performing tests and measurements, along with completing quality documentation to support overall objectives

    • Responsible for performing incoming, in-process and final inspection of components, resins, assemblies and finished goods

    • Responsible for supporting quality-related activities at our Salem, NH facility

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Assist Quality Engineering by performing tests and measurements

    • Bench testing incoming supply of thermistors

    • Test new lot samples of various media/resin

    • Support non-conforming material process

    • Support Material Review Board activities

    • Support ISO9001:2015 activities

    • Support calibration program

    • Support continuous improvement processes

    • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of materials and products

    • Support the Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams

    • Support the Warehouse team

    • Support the Innovation and Development teams

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to operate a computer and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products

    • Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing methods

    • Working knowledge of inspection tools and instrumentation

    • Working knowledge of CAD systems and searching a database

    • Minimum of 2-years working experience in an inspection or quality role in a production environment

    • Support Material Review Board activities

    • Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal

    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-driven environment

    • High School Diploma, associate's degree preferred

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Must regularly lift and/or move 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Must be able to lift

    Biotage instruments from floor to lab bench.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, sit, use hands

    and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and handle. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk,

    climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Shop-based position working from the quality, warehouse, applications lab and production areas.

    • Moderate noise level and frequent interaction with production and engineering colleagues, etc.
