Extracting Drugs of Abuse from Saliva using Supported Liquid Extraction

07 May 2014

Saliva is a non-invasive matrix that is easy to collect and growing in popularity in toxicology and workplace testing. Biotage has developed a series of application notes optimized for the most widely used commercially available collection devices of saliva. Optimum conditions for the extraction vary due to the components of the collection device used.

The following application notes are the latest in this series.

  • AN820: Extraction of Barbiturates from Oral Fluid using ISOLUTE® SLE+ after Collection with the Intercept® Oral Fluid Drug Test Kit Prior to GC/MS Analysis
  • AN821: Extraction of Barbiturates from Oral Fluid using ISOLUTE® SLE+ after Collection with the Quantisal™ Collection Device prior to GC/MS Analysis
  • AN822: Extraction of THC, THCA and Carboxy-THC from Oral Fluid by ISOLUTE® SLE+ after Collection with the Quantisal™ Collection Device prior to GC/MS Analysis
